Serial Number: the original Kalamazoo interior label is intact, but the writing on it has faded so much that it is illegible.

Construction
Neck: 2-piece flamed maple with black/mahogany/black decorative center laminate, set in. black face, bound in white.
Fingerboard: rosewood, 20 frets, with split pearl parallelogram inlays, edges bound in white, small black side dots.
Body: carved cedar archtop, curly maple sides, arched maple back, top and back bound in white.
Finish: lacquer.

Hardware
Bridge: carved rosewood.
Tuners: Gibson.
Pickguard: this guitar is missing the original pickguard, and is waiting for an appropriate replacement one to come along (the original was probably a single-ply tortoise-type).
