Gibson L7C archtop guitar

This is another beautiful Gibson jazz archtop is from the mid-1950's, companion to the natural L4C also featured in this archive. This one has the very cleverly-designed sliding DeArmond pickup, the volume control is fastened to the strings behind the bridge and rests on the guitar's top with a little piece of felt in between to avoid scratching. Like the L4C, this guitar has also been well0cared for, and is in excellent condition in spite of being used for half a century of music-making. This guitar is very loud (unamplified) and the sound can only be described as luscious![an error occurred while processing this directive]
